Finished Goods

Pinpoint accurate

Traceability of finished goods is important to our clients. This can take the form of an individual product or batch traceability, depending on client needs.

Sheer volume and complexity means that we must be able to accurately and routinely record shipped units with all of their associated variant data. We use our own in-house scan to ship process, which enables us to be in 100% control at all times.

As you’d expect, stringent error proofing is built in to all our shipping processes. For one automotive client we ship over 6,000 engines a day to 10 destinations worldwide. There have been no recorded shipping errors in 10 years.

A highly effective packaging returns system is a key factor in creating operational, cost and environmental efficiency. It means that we can purge used packaging from every part of the process and help remove the temptation for suppliers to use expendable alternatives.

The storage of finished components is another link in the complex manufacturing chain. Care and control of our clients’ valuable finished goods is the final link in helping to secure revenue and reputation.
